Frequently Asked Questions

-- The total fee is €800, a single investment that covers everything you need from day one to the Final Gala. Here is exactly what you get: €500 / Masterclasses & Mentoring: The core of the program. You get direct access to successful entrepreneurs through intensive masterclasses and personal mentoring sessions. These are not generic talks; they are focused, practical conversations designed to help you build and refine your specific business idea. €160 / Guided Workshops: Road to Finale: Hands-on working sessions where you take everything learned from your mentors and put it into action. Week by week, you will develop, test, and sharpen your business model, strategy, and pitch, guided every step of the way. €140 / Final Pitch & Investor Access: Your ticket to the Final Gala, where you pitch your idea Shark Tank-style to real investors. Every competing team has the potential to walk away with investment to develop their business, with no cap on how much funding is on the table. The winning team also receives a €1,000 business development grant. Bonus / Pre-Competition Online Sessions & Networking: Before the program officially kicks off, you get comprehensive intro sessions to get you prepared and aligned. You also gain access to our wider network of events and activities throughout the program.

How much is the program and what does it include?

-- This is a hands-on, experiential program designed to give you real-world startup skills, not just theory. You learn directly from founders and successful entrepreneurs who have built businesses themselves, and immediately apply those learnings in practice. The program is built around three core pillars: 1. Learn from the Best: Through masterclasses and 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with experienced entrepreneurs, you get direct access to real insights: what worked, what did not, and how to build something that lasts. This is not a lecture; it is a conversation with people who have done it. 2. Put It Into Practice: Every concept you learn is immediately tested in guided workshops. These sessions are designed to help you apply your mentor's learnings to your own business idea, refining your model, your pitch, and your strategy week by week. 3. Compete for Real Stakes: The program culminates in a Final Gala, a Shark Tank-style pitch event where all teams present their business ideas to real investors. Every team has the opportunity to receive investment, and the winning team also takes home a €1,000 business development grant to kickstart their venture. By the end of the program, you will not just have knowledge. You will have a business idea that has been tested, refined, and pitched to people with the power to fund it.

What is the program structure?

-- The weekly schedule is designed to create a powerful rhythm between learning and doing: Mondays / Expert Mentor Sessions (Mandatory): Each week kicks off with a session led by an experienced entrepreneur or industry expert. These masterclasses go deep into the topics that matter most for building a startup, from validating your idea and finding your market, to pitching, fundraising, and scaling. You leave every Monday with new knowledge and a clear challenge to work on. Because each masterclass builds on the previous week's content, attendance at the Monday sessions is mandatory for all participants. Wednesdays & Thursdays / Team Workshops (Flexible): The middle of the week is where theory becomes action. In guided workshops, you and your team work directly on your business, applying what you learned on Monday. Facilitators are on hand to guide you, challenge your thinking, and help you move forward. By the end of each week, your business idea is sharper than it was at the start. These workshop sessions are expected for all teams, as they are where collaboration and progress happen. However, participants working as a solo founder (or in cases where a planned teammate is unavailable) have greater flexibility and may miss an occasional workshop if necessary, provided they continue developing their project independently and stay up to date with the week's objectives. Teams are encouraged to attend together whenever possible, and solo participants may also be paired into tandems during the program to strengthen collaboration. This structure ensures you are never just passively absorbing information. Every lesson has a direct, practical purpose for your project. We also understand that many students are balancing university commitments, including exam periods, so the program is designed with flexibility in mind. While the Monday masterclasses are a required component of the experience, workshop activities can be completed asynchronously when appropriate, allowing solo founders to remain fully engaged in the program while accommodating occasional scheduling conflicts.

What is the schedule?

-- The €1,000 business development grant is awarded to the winning team as a whole, not per individual member. It is intended to be used as seed funding for the development of the winning business, giving the team a real head start on turning their idea into reality.

Will each team member receive the €1,000 business development grant?

-- The Final Gala is the grand finale of the program and the moment everything has been building towards. Think Shark Tank: you and your team take the stage and pitch your business idea to a room of real investors who have the power to fund your venture. It is not just a presentation; it is a real opportunity. Investors attend because they are actively looking for ideas worth backing. Every team gets their moment in the spotlight, and every pitch is a genuine chance to walk away with investment to take your business to the next level. The atmosphere is high-energy, professional, and exciting, making it the perfect setting to showcase everything you have built throughout the program.

What is the Final Gala?

-- No, and this is one of the most exciting aspects of the program. All competing teams are entitled to receive investment from the investors at the Final Gala. The €1,000 business development grant goes exclusively to the winning team, but when it comes to funding your business idea, every team is in the running. If an investor believes in your idea, they can back you, regardless of where you finish.

Will only the winning team receive investment?

-- Our mentors are experienced founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts who have built real businesses and navigated the challenges you are about to face. They bring hands-on knowledge, honest advice, and genuine interest in helping you succeed. You can find the full profiles of all our mentors, including their backgrounds, areas of expertise, and the businesses they have built, via the about us section (see the footer) of our website.
